The HVAC/R program prepares the students to meet challenges offered in the HVAC/R industry. Students will have the opportunity to work with highly trained and experienced professional instructors, specializing in related areas.
The HVACR program focuses on the commercial aspect of building energy management and operation with an emphasis on hands-on training using the most up-to-date professional training simulators and technology available.
What Will I Learn?
The HVAC program gives students the skills and knowledge of test equipment, service and installation procedures and theory of operation needed to enter this field as a well-paid, qualified service technician.
In and outside of class, HVAC students have the opportunity to help aid in an important volunteer project with Habitat for Humanity.
