Architecture, Manufacturing & Automotive

If you enjoy building or repairing machines or other structures, figuring out how things work and solving hands-on mechanical problems, this pathway is for you. You can expect hands-on learning opportunities in state-of-the-art facilities, such as our automotive and welding labs, and fundamental classes that will prepare you for the workforce or transfer to a four-year school.

Some highlights include:

  • Labs equipped with the latest technology, such as 3D printers, robotic arms and more
  • Preparation for in-demand career fields like construction management and orthotics/prosthetics
  • Certificate programs to help you enter the workforce earlier

The architecture, manufacturing and automotive fields are a part of JJC's Technical Department - a grouping of programs that encompasses so much more, including HVAC, orthotics & prosthetics technology, operations engineering and much more.
