The Office of Student Activities and Wellness, in collaboration with the campus community, provides opportunities for the development of the whole student through “outside of the classroom” activities by offering a rich variety of educational, wellness, and social programs. Involvement in campus life will enhance future possibilities for lifelong learning, employment, and healthy choices.
The Office of Student Activities provides an integral part of the total learning process at JJC. We offer a wide variety of the social and recreational activities through clubs and coordinate a regular schedule of OSA sponsored cultural, educational, and wellness programming. Through various clubs, organizations, and activities, students have the opportunity to add another dimension to the college experience. We encourage students to participate in a wide range of the opportunities available.
Student Activities is on social media. You can see event pictures, announcements of upcoming programs and students being engaged on campus through these outlets. Student Activities in conjunction with clubs on campus may host community events as well (for example, Trunk or Treat). The public is invited to these events. Information about community events will be found on the JJC Community Calendar.
February is Black History Month! The Office of Student Activities, along with several other groups, will host events open to students, staff, faculty and the community to honor and celebrate Black culture. Some events may require registration.
