Registration Information

Registering for classes is the next step after completing the JJC application (as well as program-specific applications, if that applies). 

New students: we’re excited to help you get started on your JJC journey! Please be sure to visit the Admitted Students page for a few steps to take before registering for classes.

How to Register for JJC Classes
  • Online: Go to MyJJC, and then click on “Student Self Service” and “Course Catalog.” From there, students can search for open course sections and complete their registration. 
  • In-Person: Assistance is available for those who prefer to register for classes in-person. Visit A-1020 on Main Campus, or RMA-1024 at the Romeoville Campus.

Registration Dates by Semester

These are the key dates to keep an eye on each semester to make sure every student get the classes they need.

  • Spring 2026

    Spring 2026 Semester

    General registration began:  Oct. 13
    First day of classes: Jan. 12
    Start of 14-week classes: Jan. 26
    Start of 12-week classes: Feb. 9
    Start of 8-week classes: Mar. 16

  • Summer 2026

    Summer 2026 Semester 

    Priority registration (for all students currently enrolled in credit courses): March 13, 8 a.m.

    General registration: March 16, 8 a.m.

    • Session 1 (6 weeks) begins: May 18
    • Session 2 (8 weeks) begins: June 1
    • Session 3 (6 weeks) begins: June 29
