Interested in emerging technologies? The CCC dual credit program at JJC is a challenging two-semester program that introduces high school students to networking, cybersecurity and cloud technologies. Students will take four classes total that are integrated into JJC's associate of applied science programs if they wish to pursue a degree.
In the fall semester, students will begin with an 8-week course-- Cisco Technologies and Internetworking (CNT101). The next 8-week course (CNT102) exposes students to the world of internetworking with routers, switches and firewalls. Both of these classes satisfy the content for the highly sought-after certifications of Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) and CompTIA Network +.
In the spring semester, students will study emerging technologies. They will take Networking Security (CNT220), an introduction to the everchanging and emerging cybersecurity field. The second half of the semester is spent in the virtual world of cloud technologies with CIS125, covering the virtual world of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
