JJC's Natural Sciences & Physical Education Department encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including astronomy, biology, chemistry and physics.

The Nursing Education department offers two programs of study in nursing - an Associate in Applied Science degree and a Certificate of Achievement.

This program will prepare students with skills need to land a challenging career in petrochemical, nuclear, or manufacturing industry.

JJC's Orthotics and Prosthetics Program is proud to be one of only seven at a community college across the nation.

Students can expect a diverse education that includes writing court documents and conducting interviews in fields such as domestic/family law, criminal, personal injury and more.

The program will prepare students to become licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners in the State of Illinois.

The Personal Trainer certificate at Joliet Junior College offers students the technical information and practical experience to seek employment as a personal trainer/fitness instructor.

Licensed practical nurses provide basic nursing care and work under the direction of registered nurses and doctors.

The Precision Machine Technology program includes both theoretical and hands-on laboratory experiences designed to complement a four-year machinist or tool and die makers’ apprenticeship program.

The PCIT program provides training for working in a variety of industries and also offers theoretical and hands-on learning in setting up and maintaining automated control systems.
