Morris Education Center
The Morris Education Center serves the greater Grundy County community and surrounding areas by providing continuing education and workforce services.
Office Hours
Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
Classes
Programming offered both day and evening consist of:
- Credit classes
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- State of Illinois High School Diploma
- Non-Credit and Life-Long Learning
Offered in:
- Two State-of-the-art computer labs
- Three Semi-Smart classrooms
Services
The JJC Morris Education center has a variety of services to assist the student in completing their academic goals. Prospective and current students can:
- Register
- Make tuition payments
- Use the computer lab
- Apply for Financial Aid
- Remote Placement Testing*
*Remote placement testing is available by appointment only on Tuesdays at 8:15 am or 1:15pm. You must physically go to the JJC Morris Education Center, where you will then test remotely using one of our computers. Remember to bring with you a photo ID and have access to your JJC email account. To schedule placement testing at the JJC Morris Education Center, please email your request, along with your JJC credentials, to stwright@jjc.edu.
Community
Through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), financial assistance for adults and youth for education and training may be provided so that individuals can enter the workforce in jobs that will allow them to financially support themselves and their families.
