Job Description Our growing business is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. Under general supervision, this individual will interact with customers over the phone and email. Throughout all of these interactions the Customer Service Representative must maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and effectiveness. The individual will assist with sales orders, questions, complaints, and process returns. Each interaction affects the customer and company in either a positive or negative way, so a great Customer Service Representative is crucial to add value to the organization.
Enters and expedites Sales Orders.
Responds to customer inquiries with timely accurate information and high degree of professionalism.
Greets customers warmly and ascertains reason for calling.
Resolves order issues efficiently and effectively.
Supports Account Managers.
Creates credit memos and return goods authorizations.
Works with management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
Impacts the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers.
Works with Customer Service Director to ensure proper customer service.
Job Requirements High school degree or equivalent
Associates degree in business helpful
6-8 years related job experience
Expert customer care skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management skills
ISO 9001/ISO 14001 knowledge helpful
