World Kia Joliet is seeking a highly organized and experienced Car Lot Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new and used car lots. We are looking for a dedicated professional who understands the dynamics of a fast-paced dealership environment and can maintain the highest standards of vehicle management and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Appraisal and Valuation: Conduct accurate appraisals of incoming vehicles, understanding market trends and used car values to ensure competitive and fair pricing.
Lot Management: Maintain order and cleanliness of both new and used car lots, ensuring an appealing and accessible display of vehicles.
Auction Coordination: Manage and arrange for auction transportation, including coordinating with external agencies.
Service Coordination: Work closely with the service department to ensure used cars receive proper inspection and necessary repairs or servicing.
Detailing Oversight: Ensure that all used cars are detailed and ready for display on the lot within 3 days of acquisition including UCI.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of vehicles, ensuring a balanced and strategic assortment of options for customers.
Team Leadership: Supervise and guide lot staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Proven experience in automotive sales or lot management, preferably in a dealership setting.
Strong knowledge of used car market values and appraisal techniques.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong leadership qualities and team management experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
