ob Overview:
Macy’s Inventory Control processors ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial movement of inventory for Distribution Center to Stores. Utilize reporting and systems research to address all related accuracy issues that could impede accurate and timely financial booking and availability for Big Ticket Customer deliveries.
Essential Functions:
Perform the thorough and timely research of inventory discrepancies.
Conduct extensive analysis using multiple reports and systems.
Ensure compliance to standard practices and procedures, offering process improvement suggestions as identified.
Use judgment to communicate alerts to key stakeholders to maintain published standards and prevent escalation of issues.
Perform financial functions to process RTVs, Transfers, MOS, as well as Receipt booking as needed.
Complete audits of financial inventory transactions and adjustments.
Process any needed corrections within stated standards for timing while ensuring inventory integrity.

Qualifications and Competencies:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years related experience
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
PC knowledge, specifically Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
Basic knowledge of computers and handheld technology
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Physical Requirements:
Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, depth perception and color vision
Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.
Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.
