Basic responsibilities include:
Work directly with customers, parts manager, service department, and body shop personnel to coordinate and accurately fulfill parts requests
Read and understand electronic parts catalogs and lookup
Perform all factory and dealership training and ensure certifications are maintained
Ensure all parts are accurately ordered and billed out on all service department and/or body shop repair orders
Maintain the electronic parts order log and update for any changes in parts order status
Maintain department and personal work email accounts in Microsoft Outlook
Regularly update customers regarding the status of their orders through their preferred method of communication (e.g., telephone, e-mail, or text message).
Verify the accuracy of customer information within the dealership management system (DMS) and update as necessary
Ensure all parts requests are properly invoiced to the proper customers.
Perform daily bin counts, enter data, and perform other administrative and maintenance tasks required for inventory control
Assist with periodic and year-end inventory counts
Rotate inventory as necessary
Receive inventory shipments and enter inventory into DMS
Prepare outgoing parts shipments (e.g., core returns, dealer to dealer, customer shipments, etc.)
Deliver/pickup parts from vendors and/or other dealers if necessary
Take ownership of customer experience from beginning to end and arrive to work at your scheduled time, ready to work
Maintain department appearance (sweep and vacuum floors, take out recycling and trash to dumpsters, clear surfaces)
Maintain CSI at or above national OEM standards
Willingness and ability to adapt to change in factory requirements, market conditions, and or changes in the objectives of the Company
Perform any additionally tasks assigned as directed by management

Minimum Requirements:
Two-years minimum experience in an automotive parts department/store
Well-rounded understanding of vehicle mechanical operation
Customer oriented and expertise in relationship building
CDK experience/proficiency preferred
Always maintain a professional decorum
OEM certifications preferred
Other Basic Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
High school diploma or equivalent
Consistent and reliable transportation
Ability to read and follow instructions
Basic computer skills (typing)
Two-years minimum experience in an automotive parts department/store
Well-rounded understanding of vehicle mechanical operation
Customer oriented and expertise in relationship building
CDK experience/proficiency preferred
Always maintain a professional decorum
OEM certifications preferred
