Job Description:
Medical Clinic looking for part time medical receptionist to assist in clinical and clerical/administrative duties. Needs to have prior experience using medical EMR system and insurance verification experience Excellent phone and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite.

*Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing patient charts.

*Prior experience using medical EMR system. Experience using AdvancedMD is a plus.

*Insurance Verification- Must have experience obtaining medical benefits from insurance companies. Know HMO/PPO insurances.

*Billing and payment collection.

*Maintain clean and organized desk area.

*Assisting with the coordination of patient flow through planning and communication with the Doctor and other staff.

*Other duties as assigned by the Doctor/Manager.

Job Requirements:
Successful candidate needs to have a versatile approach to work as duties will vary between clinical and clerical. Punctuality and ability to keep the work schedule are essential. This position requires the individual to be energetic, multi-task orientated and capable of clear communication with the doctors, patients, and staff. Flexibility is a must. People skills are a must.
