Job Description:
The Executive Director acts as the chief executive office of Special Connections of Grundy County. Overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Generate financial support through grants, foundations, corporate donors, individuals, events, and fees

● Develop relationships within the nonprofit community

● Work with staff and volunteers to plan and execute fundraising events

● Work with the board of directors to develop, implement and adjust the organization’s vision and direction

● Oversee the Special Olympics programs, monthly social activities and the day-to-day financial operations including accounts receivable and payable

Job Requirements:
The Executive Director must also be efficient with all social media platforms, assist and update the website, and be proficient in Google Workplace and Microsoft office. This is a part time position with the ability to work from home and within the community as appropriate.
