Job Description:
To assist in the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical facility that will provide for a safe, clean and habitable environment. Perform light maintenance tasks as assigned.


Job Requirements:
Complete cleaning schedule for the areas assigned, within the frequency requirements provided. Know the schedule for all the assigned areas: look for ways in which to improve on the schedule.
Possesses a basic understanding of the chemicals and processes used in the cleaning schedule. Cleans floors, walls, furniture, and other building furnishings. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
Operates scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and vacuums.
Keeps equipment in working condition. Maintains and beautifies grounds by mowing lawns, watering, pruning, etc. under the direction of the Day Custodian. Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance functions.
Watches for safety hazards and guards against fire, theft, and illegal entry. Loads and unloads delivery vehicles when necessary.
