Art Exhibition: Confluence by Steven Hudson and Gary Schirmer
Joliet Junior College Placement and Testing encompasses three different functional areas including Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), the Placement Office, and Testing Services.
Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is degree credit awarded for demonstrated relevant college-level education acquired through non-traditional schooling, work, or other experience. Submitting CPL documentation to JJC may save you time and money as you pursue your degree or certificate.
The Placement Office guides students through onboarding to successful enrollment by providing clear, personalized placement support. Submitting your alternate placement measures including your high school transcript, an ACT or SAT score, etc. may expedite your enrollment process by eliminating the need to complete JJC placement testing.
Testing Services offers placement and academic testing for JJC students, as well as certification and specialized testing for community members. With three campus locations and staff at local high schools, this service is conveniently located to meet your assessment needs.
