Job Description:
This vacancy is for a Special Census Field Manager (CFM) position for the U.S. Census Bureau, Chicago Regional Office, in the Special Census Office located in:

Plainfield, IL

-Maintains effective public relations with the community within the office boundaries, such as the local news media, community leaders and organizations, and local government officials.
-Resolves community complaints concerning problems in the Field to assure a timely and efficient Special Census operation.
-Provides group and individual training; monitors daily assignments; and provides advice and guidance to subordinate staff.
-Maintains and oversees workflow timelines for work performed in the Field operation.

Job Requirements:

-Suitable for Federal employment.

-Temporary Appointment: This is a Temporary Appointment; initial appointment is not to exceed (NTE) 1 year. This appointment may be extended an additional year at management's discretion.

-Relocation expenses will not be paid.
-The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between fulltime, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.
