Job Description The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance team, including direction-setting, personnel development, oversight of work quality, development and implementation of improvements and measurement of results. This position is responsible for the scheduling of the maintenance activities at multiple facilities. The Maintenance Manager is responsible to act as the primary interface for Operations with the maintenance personnel by approving, prioritizing, and scheduling work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all forklift equipment is operating properly and safely.
Ensure maintenance tasks throughout the facilities are assigned and completed according to schedule.
Responsible for the inspection and repair of doors, dock plates, racking and additional equipment.
Responsible for inspecting building and grounds and performing general building maintenance including dock levelers, racking, HVAC and lighting.
Maintains forklift, transportation fleet and building maintenance operational history by initiating and updating records.
Maintains safe work environment.
Train and develop a skilled maintenance team.
Conducts annual reviews of maintenance team.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
