    Promote Safety Culture: Foster a safety culture by prioritizing the health and safety of all employees and customers, applying the “see something, say something” principle, and clearly communicating safety requirements within the yard. Safely operate vehicles to move and store equipment within the facility, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
    Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries related to equipment inventory, providing guidance to customers delivering or picking up and visitors. As needed, direct customers to the appropriate team member for further assistance.
    Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain accurate records of all assets on the property, including equipment receiving, release, and reconciliation of past sales. Ensure efficient tracking and organization of inventory across all sale cycles and selling channels. Enforce storage policies and implement best practices to optimize yard space, utilization, and turnover.
    Equipment Identification and Labeling: Ensure accurate identification and labeling of equipment by recording details such as make, model, serial numbers, and seller reference numbers, maintaining an organized inventory.
    Team & Customer Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers via email, Teams, and phone to ensure smooth daily operations.
    Process Adherence & Reporting: Adhere to established processes and procedures while assisting the team manager in managing application reporting tasks. Promptly report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
    Travel: While not often, opportunities to travel do arise. This can be local or international. For those interested in potential travel, this is a great opportunity.

  job_requirements: |-
    1-3 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
    Inventory management systems and high level of comfort with various computer software packages and tablet/phone apps.
    Knowledge of various asset types across the many industries we serve. From construction to farming to transportation, identifying an asset and it’s basic use will be beneficial.
    Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
    Experience demonstrating strong attention to detail in previous roles, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.
    Proven Ability to effectively communicate and interact with team members, suppliers, and management.
    Ability to perform basic mathematics for inventory calculations, cost analysis, and reporting.
    Work both indoors and outdoors year-round, and climb on and off large equipment and trucks.
    Valid US driver’s license required. Any additional certifications are a plus (forklift, equipment operator, etc…) but not mandatory.
    Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)
    Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
