Job Description:
12-hour shifts
The Police Officer serves as a key member of the Seneca Police Department. This role involves performing law enforcement duties to ensure the safety and security of the community, including patrols, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, and enforcing local and state laws.

Job Requirements:
ILETSB Certification (Required)
Must be certified through the Illinois Training and Standards Board Experience: Previous law enforcement experience preferred, but not required. Training provided.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, local laws, and community policing principles.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
