Under the general and direct supervision of the Supervisor or Healthcare Center Manager, the Patient Service Representative provides clerical, secretarial and receptionist support for the clinic independently and with minimum supervision. Maintains all required records and reports, coordinates, processes and reports insurance information. Performs assisted billing functions as directed per Biller / Coder.
Professional/Educational
Experience in Ambulatory Care Clinics preferred.
Related College Classes preferred.
CPR Certification strongly recommended.
Personal
Computer knowledge and clerical / business office functions.
Ability to teach and direct other office personnel.
Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
Experience in Ambulatory Clinics preferred.
Ability to follow directions accurately.
Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.

Maintains the Standards of Conduct.
