A valid Illinois Driver’s License
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires general knowledge of services offered by the division.
Requires the ability to establish and maintain good public relations and working relationships with other employees and the public.
Requires ability to follow oral and written instructions, write clear and concise reports, maintain simple records, and learn how to operate filed equipment such as a camera.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting may be required.
