Reporting to the CFO, the IT Director is responsible for the overall leadership of information technology, tools and processes in Crane Composites’ corporate and field locations. This onsite role will drive the strategic vision and roadmap for the IT organization, providing technical solutions to effectively support the overall strategy of the business.
Responsibilities:
Oversee application support, system administration and infrastructure of corporate and field locations
Develop the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT application and infrastructure environment.
Take a hands-on approach in system administration tasks, including network administration, server maintenance, user support and application maintenance and support.
Ensure the efficient selection, implementation, use, and support of standard tools and processes.
Manage third party vendor relationships and agreements, contract negotiations, and delivery on all services.
Coach and mentor the IT organization, fostering an environment of effective communication, transparency, personal development, continuous improvement, and results.
Manage internal controls and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements (Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.).
Oversee help desk activity and ensure exceptional end user experience.
Develop and maintain operating and capital budget.
Oversee asset management and deployment of equipment including mobile devices, telecommunications, laptops, printers, etc
Lead upgrades of Microsoft Products (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Develop and maintain disaster recovery portfolio.
Spearhead risk management assessments and strategies.
Lead local security efforts to mitigate risk; support directives from Crane Co.’s Global Information Security team.
Spearhead local technology efforts and partner with Crane Co.’s Corporate Information Technology team in enterprise rollouts, security deployments, system and application patching etc.
Drive Intellectual Capital development.
Control both capital and expense IT budgets for multi-site environment.

Broad knowledge and experience with applications, systems, networks, security, databases, servers and storage systems.
Robust experience with a variety of ERP systems (Salesforce and KBM a plus).
Experience leading key technology projects to completion.
10+ years of progressive experience, with proven track record of success ideally in a multi-location manufacturing organization.
Experience administering enterprise infrastructure for various applications, services, configuration, deployment, and upgrades.
Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
Experience administering enterprise Windows server environments.
Experience leading implementations, along with general project management.
Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, SQL).
Ability to travel domestically (10%).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline is required. MBA preferred. Technical certifications a plus (ITIL, CITM, CTO, CISSP, PMP).
