Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately billing and coding medical procedures and services. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that healthcare providers receive proper reimbursement for their services.

Duties:
- Review and verify patient information, such as demographic details and insurance coverage
- Accurately assign medical codes using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit when necessary
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues or discrepancies
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate documentation of services provided
- Stay updated on industry changes and regulations related to medical billing and coding

Job Requirements:
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, DRG, and ICD-9 coding systems
- Familiarity with medical collections processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
