Job Description
When they arrive at work they will first check in with the shift lead. The lead will convey the number of samples needed to run that day as a shift. The employees then allocate the tests to each of the employees to complete for that day, and willl work with about 5 people on each shift There is steady work throughout the day and if you complete your assigned tests for the day early, you are expected to help another technician or grab a rag and start wiping down the counters.

Typical tests run during their shift:
-Wet chemistry
-peroxide value
-free fatty acids
-PH testing
-viscosity
-titrations
-GC (gas chromatography)
-NMR sample prep
-Follow a basic recipe

Job Requirements:
Expected hours: 40 per week
