    Job Summary:
    PIC Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to assist a new state of the art 1,250MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle power plant in Morris, IL. The Maintenance Planner reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for scheduling corrective and preventative maintenance work, maintain spare parts inventory, while working closely with procurement quoting demands to support site personnel. The Maintenance Planner will draw upon previously used warranty experience, and while utilizing Maximo knowledge, be adept at developing reports that include activities creation, spare parts inventory, job durations, and resource assignment.
    ssential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Proactively initiate quote requests, manage work orders, maintain correct status of work orders in the plant’s CMMS (Maximo).
    Interact with appropriate plant personnel in all business areas.
    Prepare and provide information for planning and scheduling meetings for management to make decisions and give direction.
    May draft schedules based on estimated direct hours.
    Provide metrics of completion of scheduled and unscheduled work.
    Work with functional management to resolve scheduling issues or risks.
    Communicate and propose solutions for scheduling problems to management.
    Oversee the review and validation of overall project durations on multiple projects.
    Responsible for writing purchase requisitions.
    Assist with managing warranty claims through contractors and equipment suppliers.
    Assist with receiving materials or any other duties as assigned.
    Produce ad hoc reports upon request.

    ob Requirements:
    Solid CMMS skills required; Maximo strongly preferred.
    Proficiency with MS Excel and Word, used to efficiently generate reports.
    Prior working experience and in a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power facility.
    Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of personnel daily.
    Familiarity of operations & maintenance at fossil power generation sites.
    Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks at once.
    Proactively approach work and project with a team attitude, offering solutions without prompting, preventing schedule creep.

    Physical Requirements:
    Be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
    Be able to climb ladders up and down multiple times a day
    Be able to tolerate fluctuations in weather conditions, working indoors and outdoors as required.
    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
    Must be able to tolerate noise typical of a power generation plant.
    Education / Experience:
    Must have HS diploma.
    5+ years’ experience in procurement, engineering and/or maintenance planning.
    3+ years CMMS experience; Maximo strongly preferred.
    5+ years MS Office, emphasis on Excel skills used to generate reports.
