| Job Description | ob Title: Forklift Technician ( Direct Hire ) Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Job Location: Morris, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Compensation: $19.00 per hour (new wage) Job Summary for Forklift Operator: Receive, unload, load, move, weigh, stack and stage materials using a forklift or skid steer. Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Responsibilities for Forklift Operator: Unload product by operating a forklift or skid steer while using appropriate handling and safety techniques Segregate material though the use of a forklift or skid steer, weigh, label, check and stage inbound materials correctly Check materials to ensure the paperwork description aligns correctly Climb train car and place in vacuum or blow to remove waste Inspect forklift and other equipment, operate safely Sign/date and fill out reports Maintain good housekeeping using organizational skills Identify damages and report overages/shortages or quality deficiencies |
