Job Description:
Part time receptionist for busy doctor’s office

This job will be for approximately 32 hours every two week pay period. The hours will fall between 7:45am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. You may be asked to work an occasional Saturday from 8:00am until Noon. There are no evening, holiday or Sunday hours. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, experience with medical terminology, EMR experience and some basic knowledge of insurance.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

Checking patients in and out.

Answering multiple daily phone calls in order to schedule patients, take payments, answer billing questions, input prescription refills, take messages and return calls for the doctor.

Scanning and faxing documents.

Imputing insurance information.

Assist with keeping the office clean.

Ability to be on feet and walking 8-9 hours a day.
