Job Description:
Shift and schedule
4 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Teacher Aid Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Assist lead teachers with daily care of children such as: curriculum planning, classroom organization, behavioral needs of the children, and planning and preparation of daily activities. This role may vary from classroom to classroom depending on the lead teacher and their individual needs and requests.
Assist with meals, toileting, hand washing, curriculum, crafts, etc.
Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
Must be patient and flexible; ability to manage children in a calm manner
Perform general housekeeping tasks
Must be able to communicate effectively with parents

Job Requirements:
Teacher Aid requirements:

Must be 18 years old
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
CPR/First Aide certified
Childcare experience isn't required but recommended
Updated physical and TB test will be required
Optional assistance with CDA program

Lifting Requirements - 25+ lbs (unassisted): No
Lifting Requirements - 50+ lbs (unassisted): No
