Ritchie Bros. is looking for a meticulous individual to fill our equipment inventory clerk opening for our Morris, IL location. No experience needed for this role, however those that have worked with inventory management in the past are encouraged to apply.

The opportunity:

This is a customer facing role primarily working from our check-in building. Roles and responsibilities include:

Greeting buyers and sellers and assisting in checking in/out

Adding, editing and verifying asset information as it passes through our gate

Proper tagging of assets for yard operations

Identifying issues and bringing them to the attention of the appropriate parties

Using various computer systems and hardware to perform job duties

Working in the weather when needed

Operating various sizes of forklifts and loaders as well as other equipment as needed

The right person:

Focus on safety at all times

Familiarity with various types of equipment

Experience operating equipment

High level of organization

Customer service focused

High level of attention to detail

Comfortable working around heavy machinery

Comfortable working with computers and various applications

Professional and punctual

Willingness to travel to other sites from time to time


Job Requirements:
Schedule:

The Morris location holds auctions 4-5 times per year. Leading up to a sale event this individual will likely need to be onsite 1-2 weekends in advance as well as the normal weekly schedule. Sales are known well in advance and are usually held in March, June, September, and December.

Office hours are 8AM-5PM M-F
