Job Description | rimary Responsibilities: The Business Office Manager is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in a loving and safe environment for all of our residents, while helping each of them to achieve their maximum potential. We are committed to be a resource for the families of our residents who have entrusted us with their care. We will empower our staff by providing them with a motivating and supportive work environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Manage accounts payable and receivables. Assist residents to apply for Medicaid. Maintain records of resident’s status with Medicaid approval process including SNAP cards. Maintain documents for resident files and oversight of resident financial records. Process and oversee payroll. Assist in employee orientation. Maintain personal files and other Human resource support functions such as: benefit enrollment, hire/term paperwork. Perform all other duties as assigned. |
Job Requirements | Ability to commute/relocate: Morris, IL 60450: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred) Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person Qualifications and Skills Required: At least (2) year experience in senior housing. Knowledge of Medicaid process. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Competent in organizational, time management skills. Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications. Must have compassion and empathy for seniors and desire to work with seniors. Self-directed, demonstrating initiative and follow-through Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to read, write and follow written direction in the English language. Ability to timely and effectively follow up on all necessary requests from staff, residents, and families. Maintain and encourage a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner that fosters cooperation. Ability to handle stressful situations and work well under pressure. Ability to recognize and communicate problems with Executive Director.
