Job Description Responsible and accountable for managing and direction of day to day operations of Same Day Surgery, PACU and Infusion Center. Works cooperatively with leadership of other departments to integrate clinical services, administrative and educational aspects throughout the continuum. Has 24 hour accountability.

Job Requirements Professional/Educational
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required, MS/MSN preferred.

Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.

Five years of healthcare or business experience, at least three of which have been in a supervisor, manager or charge position.

DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

CNAMB (Certified Ambulatory Surgery Nurse) referred or obtain within 1 year.

Certified as a nurse leader & manager (CNML) preferred, or obtain within 3 years.

Must obtain NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800

Demonstrated ability to manage both clinicians and non-clinicians.

Proven leadership and interpersonal skills

Ability to exhibit / promote progressive management skills in order to facilitate change.
