The EMS Operations Specialist is a member of the MHEMSS (Morris Hospital Emergency Medical Services System) team whose primary responsibilities include: assisting with routine System operations as stated below; daily EMS Office functions; and other tasks as they relate to the support of EMS.
Professional/Educational
EMT-P licensure in the State of Illinois or licensure as a registered nurse.
High School graduate; Associates or Baccalaureate degree preferred.
State Recognized EMS Lead Instructor within one year
Minimum of two years’ experience as a pre-hospital provider.
Previous educational experience preferred.
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate required.
Personal
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Personal computer skills utilizing Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Ability to work closely with others, provides effective leadership, and promotes a spirit of teamwork.
