Job Description | Located in the Morris/Channahon area. We are primarily a petroleum instrument repair company. These instruments accurately test and certifies the quality of fuel and lubricants in refineries, testing labs and pipeline terminals, per ASTM requirements. We are looking for a self-starter with a desire for troubleshooting and solving issues for maximum customer service satisfaction. Responsibilities: Provide service and customer support in the field, in house, via phone and email Provide on-site repairs, calibration and preventative maintenance Diagnose technical problems and errors, determine remedy, and complete repair Track repair status and troubleshooting logs Knowledge of ASTM required methods Provide detailed work orders and expense reports Assist in quality control testing of instruments Cooperate with technical service team to share information to maintain quality of service throughout the company |
Job Requirements | Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience Ability to travel nationwide (40%), valid driver’s license and insurance Must be familiar with reading circuit diagrams and various electronic trouble shooting techniques, and have an aptitude for computer operation Understanding of instrumentation and meters to assist in testing and troubleshooting Strong professional communication skills Ability to complete detail orientated reports Able to lift 50 lbs Annual and random drug testing Must qualify for TWIC; background check/fingerprints English literacy required Valid credit card with minimum $2000 limit Benefits: · Paid vacation and holidays · On the job training |
