In this position, you will support PCB manufacturing and collaborate with engineers and various product development colleagues. Responsibilities
• Wiring fixtures between probes and test fixture boards, wire wrapping, and soldering
• Troubleshooting and repairing PCBs using schematics and DMMs, or other equipment as needed, e.g., oscilloscopes
• Setting up test fixtures with computers or other peripheral equipment for testing.
• Troubleshooting and repairing fixtures; testing of PCBs
• Reviewing documentation and assisting with creating test plans
• Reviewing drawings to determine probe placement
• Working with the engineering team to help create fixtures, assist with product testing, or clarify testing requirements
• Making test jigs or other items that will assist in testing, production, or engineering tasks
• Assisting production with problems that may require minor electro-mechanical work, basic computer skills, or handling
• Possibly learning the Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) milling and machining basics
• Perhaps learning how to read C programming language, editing, and compiling C code
• Performing tasks assigned by Production Manager or Production Test Engineer
