DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
An integral member of the Public Relations & Marketing team, the Marketing and Digital Media Specialist leads strategy, development and implementation for all digital media initiatives, including SEO, social media platforms, Google Analytics, and digital marketing programs and campaigns, in addition to having oversight for hospital website content and maintenance by working directly within the content management system. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive and strategic marketing communication plans that promote Morris Hospital and its physician practices, writing and publishing original content for advertisements, newsletters, email, web, social media posts and other marketing communications materials, creating videos, taking photos, developing graphics, and contributing to all marketing and public relations initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
Minimum three years marketing experience (healthcare preferred).
Exceptional writing skills for a wide range of communications including news releases, feature stories, letters, digital, print and broadcast advertisements, social media.
Proven experience with digital marketing production, delivery, theories, and technologies including SEO, Google Ad-words and analytics.
Expertise and experience working with website content management systems (WordPress preferred) and social media platforms.
Tech-savvy, Adobe Creative Suite proficiency preferred.

Highly motivated, confident, outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter who takes initiative.
Reliable, professional, organized, with keen attention to detail.
