The Regional Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager will serve as the regional manager assisting the EHS Director with all federal, local, industry, and customer environmental, health, safety and security issues for their designated Quantix area of responsibility. This role will work cross functionally supporting various divisions specifically the liquids division. Experience with hazardous materials and hazardous waste management is required.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
This job includes the following duties and any other as assigned by current manager:
· Ensure EHS compliance, including but not limited to monitoring and assisting with air, waste, and water and complying with permits where applicable.
· Help implement and maintain a comprehensive management system to address all EHS and security issues applicable to their designated Quantix facility locations.
· Assist in maintaining an internal audit system at their designated Quantix locations to assure conformity to company and regulatory EHSS required programs, including required training under OSHA, EPA, NFPA, FDA and other regulations as applicable.
· Assist with implementation and conformance with the Responsible Care Program and responsibilities.
· Assist in implementation and maintaining compliance with required mandatory regulatory programs and plans including but not limited to: emergency response plans, mandatory OSHA written programs, spill and pollution prevention plans including SWPPP, BMP, and SPCC Plans, FDA registrations and plans, and provide on-site training where required;
· Responsible for driving environmental, health, safety and security initiatives at the designated Quantix facility locations.
· Provide support to the Director of EHS including EPA, OSHA, FDA, Responsible Care, and NFPA compliance, risk management, training, job hazard analysis, internal audits, emergency response plans, communications, and other similar support areas.
· Ensure site leadership and associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy. Audit the quality, delivery (including qualifications of the trainer), and effectiveness of all required safety training.
· Measure and analyze sites’ performance against published requirements in environmental, health and safety policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan that involves the site manager to implement and fix all identified deficiencies
· Conduct environmental, health and safety risk assessments and audits as necessary
· Facilitate root cause analyses for all environmental, health and safety incidents and recommend appropriate corrective actions for network implementation.
· Work with WC adjusters for claims resulting in area of responsibility.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Safety &Health and/or Environmental or equivalent degree (Preferred).
· 10 years of supervisory level experience in Environmental, Health and Safety compliance
· In depth knowledge of federal, state, and local laws including regulations from OSHA, EPA, and NFPA
· Experience and/or expertise involving the Responsible Care Management System, ISO 14001, or RC 14001
· Additional professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, CPEA, REM, CIH, PE preferred
· Experience in the transportation (preferably trucking) of liquid chemicals and/or dry bulk is a must.
· Experience in chemical approval process that supports the Responsible Care product safety code.
· Experience with working in a warehouse environment
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
· Anility to develop relationships with internal and external customers
· Self -motivated and able to work with little direction while under general supervision.
· Ability to multi-task
· Superior interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, interact tactfully and practice flexibility
· Excellent verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels within an organization
· Exceptional writing skills and the ability to document processes and procedures
· Effective problem solving, time management, deductive reasoning, and analytical skills
· Ability to travel to designated facilities as needed to perform job.
