What You’ll Do
• Performing radiology procedures as ordered by the physician(s) in such a way to assure reliability of results and patient safety • Demonstrates knowledge and use of proper aseptic technique and procedural equipment
• Sets up imaging equipment for procedures, takes images of the patient via the C-arm and records results.
• Operates computer and radiographic equipment for image production, documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
• Prepares the operating room for procedures including retrieval of the basic supplies needed.
• Assists the physicians with fluoroscopic procedures and special radiographic procedures.
• Follows radiation safety, universal precautions, infection control, sterile technique and fire safety.
• Maintain documentation of patient testing information
• Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
• 1+ years’ experience with C-Arm required. 1+ years of interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Current state RT license
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credential
• Basic life support certification preferred
• 1+ year patient care experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain professionalism and customer focus in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures
• Must be self-started who can work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, fast paced, team environment.
• Patient-focused with strong communication and organizational skills.
• EMR experience
