Job Description We are looking for a full-time, box truck delivery driver to work approximately 35-40+ hours a week.
Absolute Supply Inc. has been established for 10 years and has built a great reputation with our local community and Chicagoland area restaurant & foodservice establishments. Located in Rockdale, IL we specialize in providing commercial restaurant supplies & equipment.
You will be completing all tasks and duties required for driving and delivering merchandise around the local Joliet and surrounding Chicagoland area.
Tasks and duties will include:
• driving vehicles to their destination and delivering merchandise according to site requirements
• picking up merchandise from vendors for inventory
• pulling orders from warehouse and loading merchandise onto truck
• maintaining and routing all deliveries
• checking accuracy of all orders
• recording all discrepancies on both invoice copies and on delivery log
• collecting payments as directed and issuing receipts
• maintaining a delivery log with documentation of all deliveries, payments, discrepancies and returns
• carrying out routine vehicle checks and maintaining truck provided
• being polite, courteous, and professional to customers at all times
