Job Description:
Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, is a 142-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, located in Morris, Illinois. We have an excellent opportunity for a part-time Office/Ward Clerk. $1000 sign on bonus!

In this role, you will be responsible for day to day recording and charting of medical or administrative information.

Job Responsibilities:

· Process new admissions, discharges, and transfers.

· Maintain the Daily Census report

· Record doctor visits in the electronic medical record system

· Prepare packets for residents for doctor visits

· Process reports for residents including diabetic information, weights, shower information and doctor reports

· Scan and assist with medical record requests and filing

· Deliver/pick up doctor orders from hospital for signature

· Assist transporting residents to Dining and Activities



Job Requirements:
Preferred Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.

· Must possess the ability to work independently

· Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and the general public.

· Must be able to relate information regarding a resident’s condition.

· Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

· Knowledge of Point Click Care preferred
