        Are you interested in helping to shape the new face of regenerative agriculture? Then apply for the Regenerative Ag Idea Network (REGAIN) Weavers Program! REGAIN Weavers will create inclusive spaces for learning, connecting, and growing through the online community of practice, REGAIN. If you are interested in social media, marketing, food & farming systems, and coalition-building please apply!  expertise who will use their passion to influence engagement and shape the identity of REGAIN. 
        
  
      
        Position Description 
Three Network Weavers will be recruited to increase REGAIN membership by facilitating introductions and creating relationship connections with networks, organizations and members diverse in geography, race, ethnicity and gender identity. This will happen by developing content centering racial equity in agriculture and other topics. This includes but is not limited to topics such as agroecology, alternative foodways, indigenous agriculture, regenerative grazing and agriculture practices, restorative traditional agriculture practices, food sovereignty, farmer advocacy, and community food system resilience. Engagement activities for Weavers will look like discussion group facilitation, think piece blog posts, and virtual meeting facilitation. Applicants who identify as BIPOC are highly encouraged to apply. Weavers will work with RAE team members for operating support, assistance and guideline development. This is a pilot program for REGAIN and we hope to keep the program going with future funding.
Preferred Applicants will have:
A passion for connectivity and engagement
Demonstrate experience with platform promotion and marketing
Understanding of food systems and sustainable agriculture
Experience working to center racial equity
Active social media engagement
UX experience is helpful but not required
Deliverables:
All deliverables will be developed in consultation and collaboration with the RAE team
Develop at least 3 blog posts or think pieces on topic focus area to post to REGAIN
Create one multimedia experience (i.e. interview, video, virtual meeting) on topic focus area
Monitor and facilitate one discussion group by providing resources related to topic discussion
Share 5-10 events related to topic area for discussion group and general audience members
Gauge interests and opportunities of current and potential members
Attend Network Weaver scheduled meetings to identify common questions, themes, and trends throughout the activity period to inform network design and identity
Conduct outreach to new groups about their needs for a platform like REGAIN and invite participation
Timeline
Program will run from March 2022 through July 2022
Facilitator onboarding and orientation administration- 3/25/2022
Kickoff Meeting & Program Launch- 4/8/2022
Check in Meeting 1- 5/13/2021
Mid Program Meeting- 6/10/2022
End Program Meeting - 7/29/2022
Compensation
Network Weavers will commit approximately 5-10 hours per month. For your time, effort, and energy, we’re able to offer $1,750 for the program period.
