Musica Viva: NIU Steelband

The Musica Viva concert series at JJC presents the world-famous NIU Steelband from Northern Illinois University, who will perform with JJC's very own steel band.

This outstanding group of students who play the steel pan drums are considered to be among the finest student steel pan ensembles. Their program will include several genres of music, from classical to pop.

Thanks to the JJC Foundation, admission to this concert is free. All ages can enjoy this unique musical experience.
