One of the goals of Joliet Junior College's Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (OIRE) is to maintain the integrity and consistency of all JJC data.
As the source of much "official" information about JJC, we receive many requests for data. OIRE follows the AIR Statement of Ethical Principles and expects data requestors to exhibit the same level of integrity when using data provided by OIRE through a data request.
In an effort to provide better service and management of internal data requests, we have implemented the following procedures.
Prior to contacting OIR&E please review the publicly available resources on this website.
Our preference is to receive requests for data online so that we can monitor and track what is being requested. Providing the request online will allow us the ability to become more aware of the campus needs for information and adjust our publications accordingly.
Within 48 hours of our receiving your request, we will respond by phone or email to let you know when to expect the information (allow a minimum of two weeks). Depending on the complexity of the request, the time of year, and the volume of requests we have in queue, it may take anywhere from 3 days to several weeks.
OIRE will use encrypted email to transmit confidential information and sensitive data.
