CEJA Job Board: Submission #36

Job Description We seek on the go companion care for my active adult daughter in Romeoville. She is a high-functioning adult, age 26 with autism. She also has high anxiety, OCD and mood dysregulation. She is friendly, capable, and fairly independent. Some light tidying up is involved. She needs assistance with simple organization of her room, including laundry and putting clothes away. Time-to-time food preparation /supervision or planning assistance. We're looking for someone to provide companionship and general safety guidance. You may run errands with her or just take her out for outings or even just a walk! You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments and activities. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets (we have 2 overly friendly dogs). 2-3 hours and 2 days a week. Agreed upon incidental expenses covered.
