Copar is looking for individuals to add to our current Field Service pool of technicians. This position requires short travel (1-5 days as schedules will allow) in the continental U.S installing, servicing, repairing electronic control systems at our customer manufacturing facilities for the Corrugated Paper Industry. Copar is willing to train the right candidate in a classroom environment and offers on the job training.
• Flexibility to travel
• Mechanical/Electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Repairing and maintaining Electrical/Mechanical industrial equipment
• Hands on approach to problem solving
• Low Voltage testing and implementation
• Must be able to use a Multimeter and other electrical test equipment
• Able to read and understand drawings
• Install, implement low voltage equipment on customer machines
• Setup, test, calibrate current and previous control systems
• Repair Copar systems at customer locations
• In house tech support via phone and email
• In house testing and quality checks of current sensors, boards, and equipment
• Verify system performance by testing and calibrating Copar controls
• Complete all paperwork applicable to service work
