| Description: | High Touch High Tech Chicagoland is looking for a Part-Time STEAM Coordinator to join our team immediately. In becoming one of our Part Time STEAM Coordinators, you will have the chance to uphold the prestigious title as one of our Scientist working with the youth within the Chicagoland area. We are looking for an excited individual ready to help influence young minds in the world of STEAM by teaching our Hands-On workshops to grades PreK-8th. This is a traveling position to various Elementary Schools, Preschools, Park Districts, Libraries, and Summer Camps. We provide you with all the materials and training needed. In joining our Team, it is the Scientist responsibility to secure all supplies and materials from the Director in preparation of the weekly scheduled workshops. We provide you with all supplies and materials you will need to successfully run each workshop, it is your duty to obtain the supplies from our office location or from the Director at the start of each week. Our Part Time STEAM Coordinator Position is one that will help grow your passion to teach and influence young minds. |

A Good Candidate will have experience with public speaking, be able to improvise with young minds, be able to engage with the various youth we present our workshops too. Experience within a formal classroom setting or related field is a plus but is not needed. Degree within the Sciences, Education, Outreach, or 3-5 years’ experience in a related field is preferred, but not required. Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle is a must. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. |
