On Monday, April 28, the top three vote recipients from the 2025 consolidated election were officially sworn in as trustees to the Joliet Junior College board of trustees. The board also established its executive team and welcomed the new student trustee.

Results became official following the canvassing of votes by county clerks or board of election commissioners.
The trustees were sworn in by JJC president Dr. Clyne Namuo. Garcia and Broderick are incumbents. Bottomley of Joliet will serve her first term.
Brenton Bishop was recognized alongside elected trustees as the newly appointed student trustee. Bishop is pursuing a degree in nursing and is very active on campus. They have served as president of Pride Alliance and a member of student government and Disability Awareness Club. Bishop replaces outgoing student trustee Ryan Queeney, who will graduate in May and pursue their degree in strategic organization and non-profit leadership at Indiana Wesleyan. Student trustees are appointed annually and serve in a non-voting capacity.

JJC is governed by a seven-member board of trustees, all of whom are elected from within the seven-county college district for at-large, staggered, six-year terms.
