
Planetarium Show: Accidental Astronauts
The Joliet Junior College (JJC) athletic department has hired Ally Flanagan as the new head coach of the Wolves women's volleyball program.
"I am thrilled to step into the new role as the head coach of the Joliet Junior College women's volleyball program," Flanagan said. "With five years of coaching experience across club and high school levels, I bring a deep knowledge of the game and a passion for athlete development to the junior college level."
Flanagan is currently a coach and administrator for Ultimate Volleyball Club as well as the freshman coach at Lincoln-Way Central High School. As a player, Flanagan played at Marist High School, Ultimate Volleyball Club and Knox College.
"We are very excited to welcome Ally into the Wolves family as our women's volleyball head coach," said JJC athletic director Gregg Braun. "Ally brings enthusiasm and great knowledge to the program. We cannot wait to watch the team compete this season."
The Wolves begin the 2025 season on Friday, Aug. 22 at the NJCAA Opening Weekend tournament.
"I am committed to building a positive, growth-minded team culture focused on accountability, effort, and continuous improvement — both on and off the court," said Flanagan. "I am excited to take the lead at JJC and help guide the program to new heights."
