The Joliet Junior College Culinary Arts Department’s Fall Harvest Feast returns Friday, Nov. 8 to City Center Campus.
Guests will tour the culinary program’s beautiful kitchens at City Center Campus while tasting delicious food prepared by JJC student chefs. Wine and beer will also be served, with local craft brewery partners Pollyanna Brewing and Brickstone Brewing offering seasonal and award winning selections to pair with the food.
“Fall Harvest Feast focuses on hundreds of sweet and savory delicious items, many of which incorporate flavors and ingredients from the fall harvest,” said Chef Mike McGreal, culinary arts department chair. “Guests better come hungry, and try to pace themselves, as kitchens on each of the five stories will have a bountiful display of creative and oh-so-yummy treats.”
Tickets are limited for the event. They are $85 per person, and all proceeds after expenses go towards student scholarships, educational equipment purchases and/or faculty professional development and skill enhancement activities.
The event is Friday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at JJC's City Center Campus, 235 N. Chicago Street in downtown Joliet.
