To qualify to apply for the Respiratory Care Program you must meet residency requirements as defined by Joliet Junior College. Also you must have on file each of the following requirements. If you are a transfer student, courses and grades from your previous institution(s) must already be posted to your academic record.Official college transcripts should be mailed to Joliet Junior College, Academic Credentials Office, 1215 Houbolt Road, Joliet IL 60431-8938.Contact Sandra Barrera, Respiratory Care Admissions, at (815) 280-2247 or by email at sbarrera@jjc.edu if you have questions.
All students who have met the admissions criteria are required to take the 7.0 version of the “Test of Essential Academic Skills.” You must have the TEAS exam completed and on record by March 31, 2025. Failure to do so will make your application incomplete and no longer valid. We encourage applicants to only take the exam one time per semester. If the TEAS test is taken multiple times in a semester, the committee will ONLY consider the score from the first time it was taken during the semester. For further information, please refer to the JJC tuition page under differential tuition.
