JJC’s Fall Harvest on Nov. 2 Will Benefit Culinary Students and Program

Explore beautiful kitchens while tasting delicious food during the Joliet Junior College Culinary Arts Department’s Fall Harvest on Friday, Nov. 2 from 6-8:30 p.m. It takes place at the college’s City Center Campus located at 235 N. Chicago St. in Joliet.

Fall Harvest 2017“Most of the food and pastry items will focus on fall flavors and many seasonal ingredients,” said Chef Mike McGreal, Culinary Arts Department chair. “Guests will wander from one kitchen to the next sampling an incredible assortment of items all prepared by our talented Culinary Arts students.”

Craft beers from Pollyanna Brewing and Brickstone Brewery, as well as assorted wine varietals will also be available.

Tickets are $85 per person with all proceeds after expenses going towards student scholarships, educational equipment purchases and/or faculty professional development and skill enhancement activities. The event is expected to sell out quickly, as only 350 tickets will be sold.
